What data is processed
Depending on how you use the website, the following personal data may be processed:
- Name
- Company, if provided
- Email address
- Telephone number, if provided
- Message, if provided
- Selections in the website configurator on /websites (scope, industry, style, features, hosting, and materials)
- Consent status for form submissions
- Time of submission
- Technically necessary request and security data such as IP address, access time, and requested page
Purpose of processing
Processing serves to provide the website, respond to contact requests, handle project inquiries through the configurator on /en/websites, and prepare and follow up on offers. Email data is also used to deliver confirmations and to handle your inquiry internally.
Legal basis
Processing a concrete project or contact inquiry is primarily based on pre-contractual measures at your request under Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
If you activate the required privacy checkbox in the configurator, we also process your details on the basis of your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Consent is not the sole legal basis for a pre-contractual inquiry; it supplements processing where it is explicitly requested.
Technically necessary access data during website operation is processed on the basis of legitimate interests under Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, in particular to ensure security and stability.
Email delivery via SMTP2GO
Inquiries via /en/websites and the contact form are sent by email. We use SMTP2GO for delivery. Only the data required for the inquiry is transmitted to the operator and, for website inquiries, a confirmation is sent to the email address you provide.
SMTP2GO processes transmitted messages as a processor for email delivery. Which server locations are used in individual cases depends on the service configuration and may vary by routing.
Hosting at Hetzner
The website is hosted on server infrastructure provided by Hetzner. Technical access data required for provision, security, and stability of the website is generated in the process.
Optional webhook
Additional forwarding to an external automation system only takes place if such an integration is explicitly activated and added to this privacy notice. No such forwarding is currently active for website inquiries.
Retention period
Inquiries that do not lead to a contract are stored for six months after the inquiry is closed, unless a contract is concluded or statutory retention obligations apply.
If a contract is concluded or statutory retention obligations apply, data may be stored longer where necessary.
Recipients and processors
Recipients of personal data may include:
- the operator of this website for handling your inquiry
- SMTP2GO as a processor for email delivery
- Hetzner as a processor for website hosting
- an external automation system used by the operator, if such forwarding is explicitly activated and described here
Rights of data subjects
You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection where the statutory requirements are met. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority.
Withdrawal or objection
You may withdraw consent at any time with effect for the future. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing before withdrawal.
You may object to processing based on legitimate interests on grounds relating to your particular situation where the statutory requirements are met.
