About Elijá
Final-year biotechnology student, EcoCoat scientific staff, and builder of research systems that stay legible under real experimental pressure.
I am a final-year BSc Medical & Pharmaceutical Biotechnology student at IMC Krems, working as scientific staff on the EcoCoat project with Kansai Helios. My work spans morbidostat-based adaptive laboratory evolution, Python analysis of fermentation time series, and the lab infrastructure — like eLabFTW — that keeps experiments reproducible.
Working principles
- Treat the lab bench and the codebase as one system.
- Document while the experiment is still fresh.
- Prefer measured iteration over polished claims.
- Make workflows repeatable before making them impressive.
Selected experience
Scientific staff on EcoCoat (Apr 2026 – present) and project intern (Sep 2025 – Mar 2026) at IMC Krems — ALE experiments, Python pipelines, Microtox setup, and industry collaboration with Kansai Helios.
